REVO_SCHOOL / ENTRY
The REVO 245 is the board that makes learning to windsurf easy. Designed and constructed for long-term service and reliability. Each feature of the board is considered to elevate the learning experience.
DURABILITY
Built solid. Specifically designed for windsurf school and center use.
UNI-PAD
Single-piece 6mm deck pad for maximum durability.
ALLGAIER DAGGERBOARD
Proven reliability. Widely available spare parts.
BUILT FOR DURABILITY
SHAPE
A parallel outline and long waterline is ideal for the first-time windsurfing experience. The Revo is also a great board for anyone on light wind days, with excellent glide and upwind performance. Its design was inspired by the legendary Windsurfer.
CONSTRUCTION
With a focus on durability, the Revo is tough. A heavy-duty outer layer of fiberglass with 0.8mm ABS withstands impact and repetitive daily use. An additional wide reinforcing band around the rail protects the most exposed area and significantly prolongs the board’s life span.
FULL EVA DECK
The full deck pad adds ride comfort and makes climbing up onto the board safe and painless. Grooved texture for grip and 6mm thick for comfort. Designed for years of service, the Revo’s deck pad is a single piece so there’s no joins or edges to lift up. A gray color is used so as not to look dirty and will also resist fading after hours in the sun.
EASY HANDLING + SECURITY
Handles mounted on the nose and tail makes the Revo easy to carry. These can also be used as an attachment point to lock the boards up at night.
RETRACTABLE DAGGERBOARD
The REVO 245 uses the Allgaier daggerboard system. Reliable, functional and easily serviceable – the only option for busy windsurf schools and centers.
POWERBOX FIN
A 34cm fin is big enough for directional stability, and short enough to allow shallow water launching. Maximum durability – plastic fin construction and bolt-through PowerBox system. Easily and quickly removable for rack storage using the tool-less fin screw.
/ MORE MANOEUVRABLE. IT HAS MORE ROCKER AND FINER RAILS.
TE
R JUMPING. THE NANO-LIKE OUTLINE WITH ADDED SPEED ARE MADE FOR AIR.
/ MORE COMPACT: SHORTER AND NARRO
The unique shape and the four fins generate maximum drive and acceleration, bringing an awesome production of speed, flow and power to your sailing in all wave & wind combinations.
Stable and extremely responsive, the Quads are most rewarding when driven off the rails for powerful yet smooth turns. The four-fin grip gives a very connected sensation to the wave yet they still have the ability to lose the tail when extended through the lip for a rotational move.
For 2015, subtle changes producing significant differences in performances have been introduced on three models in the range.
The Quad 79 and 84 have their Vee brought forward of the fins. This produces more precise rail-to-rail control in the bottom turn allowing for quicker trajectory changes as well as facilitating cutbacks as the board rolls off the Vee to set the forward rail.
More outline curve was added between the footstraps of the Quad 74 for quicker and tighter turns but also allowing the board to project more vertically up the face of the wave. - See more at: http://www.star-board-windsurfing.com/2015/products/boards/quad#overview
