SEVERNE designed the Mega to break traditional category boundaries. Co-developed with Cedric Bordes, this board delivers race-level performance through accessible design philosophy.

Co-developed with Cedric Bordes , the MEGA delivers race-level performance through accessible design philosophy. Every element calibrated for explosive acceleration, maximum speed, and the critical control necessary when operating at the razor-thin edge between victory and wipeout.

Boxier rails generate explosive power and immediate response. Parallel outline with aggressive cut-aways ensures rock-solid directional stability at top speed. Rearward volume distribution delivers swift acceleration and early planing. All elements working in complete synergy.

Performance oriented riders feel the difference immediately. Biaxial and unidirectional carbon construction maximise reactivity while strategic double density PVC reinforcement ensures long-term performance without weight penalty.

The plug and play nature of the Mega lets you focus on racing rather than managing your gear.

The Mega changes that.

Through two years of R&D with Cedric Bordes, we discovered we could build a race board that everyone can ride. Whether it’s Antoine Albeau or your office colleague, the Mega unleashes that inner racer immediately. The Pro’s will use the MEGA for the relentless full power slalom short heats, recreational sailors will blast on it with ease for hours.

The unique shape and the four fins generate maximum drive and acceleration, bringing an awesome production of speed, flow and power to your sailing in all wave & wind combinations.
Stable and extremely responsive, the Quads are most rewarding when driven off the rails for powerful yet smooth turns. The four-fin grip gives a very connected sensation to the wave yet they still have the ability to lose the tail when extended through the lip for a rotational move.


For 2015, subtle changes producing significant differences in performances have been introduced on three models in the range.

The Quad 79 and 84 have their Vee brought forward of the fins. This produces more precise rail-to-rail control in the bottom turn allowing for quicker trajectory changes as well as facilitating cutbacks as the board rolls off the Vee to set the forward rail.

More outline curve was added between the footstraps of the Quad 74 for quicker and tighter turns but also allowing the board to project more vertically up the face of the wave.
