STONE_JAEGER STYLE
STONE _JAEGER STYLEA real wave board, with the flow and looseness to get creative and the reliability to be confident. Excelling in down-the-line conditions, the Stone is also fast enough to be used in onshore or average conditions.
More curve in the back of the Stone enables it to fit deep in the pocket of the wave. The sleek outline is narrower and longer to handle speed. Combined with a rounded pintail and a reduced nose width, this board reacts to any rider input.
Fast concave bottom shapes to jump like Jaeger. It’s built in premium Carbon/S-glass construction, and can be setup as either a quad fin or a thruster. Jaeger uses both; quad for control when the waves get bigger, and thruster for when he wants added power. Having both options in a single board makes a lot more sense than having two nearly identical boards with different fin configurations. Saves cash and space in the board bag.
The Stone board feels connected to the wave. It’s fast, fluid and fun. It converts wave power into kinetic energy so you can then turn it into buckets of spray.
Jaeger says:
“I live in Geraldton, but am forever chasing forecasts at the premium down-the-line, pure wave spots in W.A. When I pack the Landcruiser, this is the board that’s in the back. Slightly longer, with refined rails flowing into a rounded pintail. This board allows me to draw my turns out smoothly when wanted, yet our proven rockerline still enables the tight, vertical, and fast approach to wave sailing that we focus on.“

The unique shape and the four fins generate maximum drive and acceleration, bringing an awesome production of speed, flow and power to your sailing in all wave & wind combinations.
Stable and extremely responsive, the Quads are most rewarding when driven off the rails for powerful yet smooth turns. The four-fin grip gives a very connected sensation to the wave yet they still have the ability to lose the tail when extended through the lip for a rotational move.
For 2015, subtle changes producing significant differences in performances have been introduced on three models in the range.
The Quad 79 and 84 have their Vee brought forward of the fins. This produces more precise rail-to-rail control in the bottom turn allowing for quicker trajectory changes as well as facilitating cutbacks as the board rolls off the Vee to set the forward rail.
More outline curve was added between the footstraps of the Quad 74 for quicker and tighter turns but also allowing the board to project more vertically up the face of the wave. - See more at: http://www.star-board-windsurfing.com/2015/products/boards/quad#overview
