TAKE OFF
PERFORMANCE FREESTYLE & WAVE
FOR WING FOIL / SUP FOIL / PRONE FOIL
Tuned for the best performance during every stage of foiling: on water stability, take off and touch down. The new Take Off design allows for faster take off and easier recovery when touching down. The range features a comprehensive size offering to the next level in freestyle Wing, SUP and prone foiling.
HIGHLY VERSATILE FOILBOARD RANGE
Larger Take Off sizes are designed for SUP Foiling and intermediate Freestyle Winging, whereas smaller, lower-volume Take Off models are primarily designed for the best freestyle Wing experience with prone foil crossover abilities.
HIGHER ASPECT SIZE RANGE
Super fast in take-off, forgiving on touchdowns, high in-flight speeds and thinner design for precise control.
EXCELLENT CONTROL
The increased volume in the nose and tail, combined with a thinner standing area, ensures balanced volume distribution, resulting in excellent control.
VEE NOSE
Allows for easier recovery when jumping, smoother touchdowns at speed and improves pop up during take off.
BALANCED VOLUME DISTRIBUTION
ThBalanced nose, tail and rail volume gives you excellent stability before take off and when flying.
THIN STANDING AREA
Giving you the best connection to the foil. The deck angle is designed to give you the best control when foiling.
ROCKER LINE
Fine tuned rocker gives you early take offs, a balanced flight experience and the best chance of recovering after a jump or touch down.
BALANCED FOIL BOX
Designed to perform best in the center of the box, riders often choose to fine tune their position depending on their chosen foil sport. Prone foiling generally requires a further back position and riders using small foils for jumping often choose a further forward box position
CUTAWAY TAIL ON SMALLER SIZES
Smaller sizes of the Take Off feature a cutaway tail for the fastest release for Wing Freestyle, whereas longer sizes feature a sloped tail for smooth release when SUP Foiling and freeride wing foiling.
CUSTOMISABLE INSERTS
Multiple foot strap positions let you choose between wider or narrower straps. Narrow straps offer more control, while wider straps make trimming easier. Larger boards have inserts angled inward for better balance, while smaller boards feature outward angles for added agility.
SCRATCH PROTECT NOSE STICKER
Protects your board from scratches and dings when placed on the ground, giving you peace of mind before and after your session.
CARRY HANDLE INSERT
The Take Off features an ergonomic center carry handle, for easy handling with foil.
14" FOIL BOX
The 14" box allows for foils from most brands and is extra reinforced to ensure stability and a direct transfer of energy from the foil to your feet.
*4’3" x 18.5" / 30L features a 12" US Box
FOOTSTRAP SET INCLUDED
Designed for optimal comfort and performance in wingboarding, the footstrap features premium Yulex neoprene for a soft yet secure fit. With a 60-degree angle, it molds perfectly to your foot. Multiple screw holes offer adjustability, allowing riders to customize their positioning and angle.
*Only available with Blue Carbon construction
BOARD SOCK INCLUDED
Reduces paper waste and protects your board from dust, scratches, and UV damage. Made of stretchable polyester, it fits various board shapes and has a secure drawstring closure.
BOARD CONSTRUCTIONS
BLUE CARBON FOILBOARD
LIGHTWEIGHT, STRONG AND DURABLE
Experience the lightest, stiffest, and strongest technology to get you flying faster and for longer.
› Get flying faster with a lighter board
Using top-grade 150g Biaxial Carbon, the board is significantly lighter yet incredibly strong and stiff. A custom process creates a double stringer, boosting breakage strength and stiffness.
› Reinforced standing area
High-density PVC in the standing area enhances durability and prevents heel dents.
› Maximum stiffness and rigidity
Lightweight biaxial carbon fiber on the deck and bottom ensures stiffness and rigidity. An arrow-shaped PVC stringer provides extra breakage strength and stiffness over the foil, essential for long, narrow shapes.
LMITED SERIES FOILBOARD
TIMELESS LOOK, SOLID PERFORMANCE
› Super-strong and lightweight biaxial carbon fiber is laminated on the deck and bottom over the foil for maximum stiffness and rigidity. A PVC stringer prevents impact damage and creates a secure mount for the foil box.
› Double-reinforced rails provide additional strength and stiffness, while multiple layers of fiberglass protect the entire board.
› Australian pine wood in the standing area offers extra impact resistance and rigidity in the most critical impact zone.
› All inserts feature high-density foam reinforcements, along with added rail and nose reinforcements for extra durability.
NEW 7'6" x 28" / 140 ltr.
Length: 7’6" / 228.6 cm
Width: 28" / 71.12 cm
The 7’6” Take Off is our largest size without compromising performance. The 7’6” is our most stable offering and is designed to take your foiling to new heights – especially for heavier Wing Foilers and SUP foilers. The size range has been extended to 7’6” for stability. We found that the length provided great stability so we were able to narrow this model to 28” wide without sacrificing stability. If you are looking to take your foiling to the next level then the 7’6” is the board for you. Featuring fast take-off performance, and easy recovery/touchdowns thanks to the refined rocker line and vee nose. The filled-in tail allows SUP Foilers to have a predictable take-off and gives the board even volume distribution.

NEW 7'0" x 26" / 115 ltr.
Length: 7’0" / 213.36 cm
Width: 26" / 66.04 cm

We were amazed that a larger board at this size offers such great maneuverability in the air for wing foiling, and this size made an excellent larger SUP foil size. At 115L of volume, the 7’0” suits a range of riders such as intermediate wing foilers at around 110 kg and SUP foil surfers at 100kg.

The unique shape and the four fins generate maximum drive and acceleration, bringing an awesome production of speed, flow and power to your sailing in all wave & wind combinations.
Stable and extremely responsive, the Quads are most rewarding when driven off the rails for powerful yet smooth turns. The four-fin grip gives a very connected sensation to the wave yet they still have the ability to lose the tail when extended through the lip for a rotational move.
For 2015, subtle changes producing significant differences in performances have been introduced on three models in the range.
The Quad 79 and 84 have their Vee brought forward of the fins. This produces more precise rail-to-rail control in the bottom turn allowing for quicker trajectory changes as well as facilitating cutbacks as the board rolls off the Vee to set the forward rail.
More outline curve was added between the footstraps of the Quad 74 for quicker and tighter turns but also allowing the board to project more vertically up the face of the wave. - See more at: http://www.star-board-windsurfing.com/2015/products/boards/quad#overview
