MACH_8 PRO SLALOM - ENGINEERED TO WIN.
Eight years of race-winning DNA shifts up another notch with the Mach 8. Re-engineered entry profiles create a slippery, low-drag configuration that cuts through any wind state. The wider head works in harmony with size-specific luff curves to bend the mast perfectly – instant power when you need it, controlled twist when you don’t.
This new generation racing machine glides through lulls and gusts with minimal adjustment needed. A stable, more natural trim delivers higher average speeds while reducing rider fatigue. The advanced aerodynamics deliver new levels of peak performance, but the real advantage is the ease with which these speeds are achieved.
Xtended Range technology means bigger gaps between sizes are possible. Deeper, more powerful profiles are locked in place with added skin tension to enhance control and stability at both ends of the wind range. Wider range. Zero limits.

XL PERFORMANCE
Used on the MACH 8, the XL Cam maximizes leading edge stability by allowing increased cam pressure to be distributed over a wider surface area.
Rotation is improved by the increased the leverage of the longer cam.
Mast wear is reduced due to less friction from the 8 rollers.
DIRECT DRIVE TENSIONERS
The DDT 4 and DDT 5 tensioners directly connect the tube batten to the leech of the sail. This new design eliminates the heavy section of the tube that is needed for the standard batten tensioner. And being smaller, it has superior aerodynamics. It is used on all lower tension battens in the OVERDRIVE and the MACH 7.
OPTIONAL CLEW POSITIONS
POSITION 1:
This is the recommended setting and carries the adjustable outhaul fitting. It creates the perfect balance between a comfortable clew height and leech tension. This is the setting that Matteo Iachino will use for 99% of PWA slalom races.
POSITION 2:
This setting is lower and further in. It softens the feel of the sail and may be more comfortable for smaller, lighter riders looking for more control in higher winds.
